Center Rules

• Activity must be stopped during the times of prayer.
• Smoking is prohibited at all times within Fitness Time locations; there are no designated smoking areas.
• Consuming food or beverages within the fitness centre, with the exception of water or fitness drinks in the exercise area and light snacks in the lounge area, is strictly prohibited.
• Appropriate dress must be worn at all times, including a top, bottoms, and athletic shoes.
• Fitness Time is not liable for clothing or any other items stored in lockers – storage is at the users own risk.
• Change room lockers shall be emptied every night by fitness centre staff; lockers shall not be used by members to store clothing or any other items overnight.
• Amenities provided by Fitness Time (slippers, towels, etc.) are the property of Fitness Time and must be returned after each use.
• It is strictly forbidden to throw weights on the ground.
• Flippers and t-shirts cannot be worn in the pool area (swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room).
• All members must shower before entering the pool.
• All equipment must be treated respectfully; misuse and mistreatment of equipment will not be tolerated (trainers are available at all times to teach how to use equipment).
• Emergency procedures in the event of power failure, fire, flooding, etc. must be followed.
• Fitness Time staff should be treated with respect; members are required to follow staff instructions, especially in the event of emergency (any member complaint relating to Fitness Time staff should be directed to the Centre Manager and/or our customer service hotline).
• Fellow Fitness Time members should be treated with respect; instances of disrespect (either physical or verbal) to fellow members will not be tolerated.
• Members are not allowed entry into staff-only areas (accommodation, offices, etc.).
• Parking must be in designated areas only; members shall not block driveways, access lanes, etc. of neighbouring property.
• Fitness Time is not responsible for any damage or theft to members’ vehicles.
• The use of steroids , hormones, and/or any other illicit or banned substances is strictly forbidden within Fitness Time premises.
• Members shall not engage in solicitation of any services and/or products to other members within Fitness Time locations.
• Members are not allowed to give any Fitness Time staff cash, special privileges, and/or any other gift.
• Any health concern should be reported to Fitness Time staff prior to engaging in physical activity.
• Fitness Time does not assume any responsibility relating to the occurrence of injuries to any member, whether through the improper use of equipment or any other reason while in Fitness Time fitness centres.
• Facilities may be shut down at any time by management for periodic maintenance, cleaning, and/or any other reason without prior notice.
• Member contact details may be used for joint marketing campaigns, and/or to communicate Fitness Time offers, news, events, etc.
• Membership cards are provided for the sole use of the individual member – they cannot be transferred, shared, loaned, etc.; sharing of membership cards will not be tolerated.

In addition to the conditions of use provided here, members shall follow additional guidelines, instructions, and/or notices provided within the fitness centre (whether communicated through written pamphlets, written notices, or verbally from centre staff).
